About Us

Osmos is a small, privately-held company based in Northern California. We are dedicated to creating tools that help people manage their content.  In our years of developing websites, we found that using previous content management tools just didn't work the way we needed them to.  The setup and page management were like pulling teeth. They tried to be all things to all users and ended up costing us more time than they saved.

...So we built Osmos. By splitting Osmos functionality between the site designers and the site maintainers, we freed everyone to focus on the tasks that they're responsible for, and kept the interaction simple. As a result, the interface is clean and intuitive, and you can begin working on your site immediately. It met ours and our clients needs perfectly, and as a result, we use it every day.

Our background is user experience and web application development. As we planned out our own content management tool we placed a great deal of thought into keeping the interaction as simple and straightforward as possible. Our customers have told us that this has resulted in less time spent on changes per week, and less money spent on outside help.  We've seen this firsthand as well, and it makes us very happy.
